This file includes the terms used by FlyBase as controlled vocabularies.
The upper-case alphanumeric codes (e.g., P1., GAT6. GAP5. GA17.) are used
by the FlyBase curators. If a code ends with the characters
.q then this indicates that the term is to be used as a qualifier of
a controlled term with the same alphanumeric code. Qualifiers are
separated from the primary terms by a vertical bar with a
space character on either side, i.e., primary_term | qualifier.
Lines that begin with the symbol are title or comment lines. Lines that
end with a colon are not controlled terms but introduce a list. They may,
or may not, also be controlled vocabulary terms present as such elsewhere in
the list. Any text on a controlled vocabulary line that follows the symbol
is a comment. Numbers within square brackets, [], are references and
refer to the list at the end of this file. The symbols /= indicate
synonyms. Synonyms are not used as controlled terms: there presence
is simply as an aid to curation. Within sections these lists have
a rough hierarchical structure. Lines that have only a symbol
are spacer lines for ease of reading only.

This file is hierarchical. The top level begins 7 spaces after the
end of the uppercase alphanumeric line code.

Following all the CVs is a list for curatorial use in free text.
